At the American Baccalaureate School (ABS) we believe that Physical Education (PE) experienced in a positive environment, is vital and unique in its contribution to a pupil’s physical and social development. The PE curriculum aims to provide a progressive and balanced program of activities that will help to increase pupils’ awareness and knowledge of how their body works, which, will in turn improve their physical fitness, coordination and self-confidence through successful performance and the ability to manage themselves in a variety of situations.

Lunchtime activities, PE classes, and after-school clubs and competitions provide essential opportunities to enhance their overall well-being. Regular physical activity during school and campus life helps improve concentration, supports mental health, fosters teamwork, and promotes a healthy lifestyle, all of which contribute to both academic success and personal development.
