Microsoft applications for online education
Outlook
MS Teams
Microsoft Teams is an innovative way to bring students together to connect and collaborate. With useful features like OneNote integration to keep track of your notes and calendar, and instant group messaging and document sharing, Teams offers everything the modern student needs to stay connected with their projects and peers.
OneNote
To complete the online learning experience, Microsoft offers OneNote - the notebook, reimagined! Students can access a digital notebook for each of their classes along with shared notebooks for shared group work. Notebooks are divided into sections and pages, so that students can easily locate notes with a few clicks. OneNote also offers the option to take notes by hand and sketch diagrams to encourage active note taking.
SharePoint
Part of the Microsoft ecosystem, SharePoint is the ultimate online file management platform. With a variety of options for organization of course work and student resources, SharePoint gives students the opportunity to access and manage personal, class and school files outside of the classroom wherever they may be at any time of the day. Through this we ensure that ABS students have the tools needed to excel while tackling studies at home as well.
Cloud Applications
Whether it be coursework or assignments, cloud-based applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc., are essential to tracking and saving progress. These applications offer the freedom to pick up where you left off from a variety of internet-enabled devices. By taking work online, students can share content and collaborate in real-time, increasing efficiency and reducing the need to rely on external, and often ineffective, forms of communication.
