ABS Book Fair 2011

ABS is holding its annual book fair from December 5th through December 8th. The Book Fair is open from 7:40 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. daily and will be open until 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 8. As well as many great books, stationery items, posters, and art supplies are also available for purchase. All students will have the opportunity to visit the Fair with their class.

ABS Parent Coffees

Parent coffees are provided to all parents as a special educational opportunity. The last Tuesday of each month, we will provide a speaker on various topics of interest to parents (all presentations are in English). Each session will include an opportunity to meet with other parents, listen to an interesting talk, and ask questions.

The next parent coffee will be held on January 31 on the topic of bully prevention. Come and enjoy a cup of coffee and meet other parents. We hope to see you on the 31st!

Evening of the Arts - December 8

This event will take place from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. in the Elementary cafeteria. Come and view artwork produced by students from varying grade levels, the Art Club and Friendship Club. For your entertainment a short high school production, "Oliver Twist", will showcase the talent of our drama students.  Refreshments will be offered by our top ABS chefs. Come out and show your support to our fine artists and talented students! 

Sports Days - December 5 and December 6

 ABS will hold its annual Sports Days on December 5th for the girls and December 6th for the boys at the Kuwait Sports Club in Kaifan. The students will have a day packed with fun sporting activities including football, volleyball, and kickball. After a restful lunch break, students will have a chance to compete against staff in a tug-of-war contest.

At the end of the day, all students will be presented with an award for their participation and awards will be presented to the teams who won the final championship rounds.
