Dear Parent,

 

It has been a great start to the 2011-2012 school year.  We are very pleased with the progress the students are making so early in the year.  Quarter 1 has been filled with great exciting learning opportunities and great events like field trips, theme days and Character Education assemblies.

 

As you know, your child’s education is our number one priority.   We take great pride in providing our students’ with a high quality education by using proven and effective instructional methods that are appropriate for each grade level.

 

We provide this education in a positive and safe environment where students are valued, respected, and supported.  We do all of this while keeping your child engaged and having FUN!  We are on task with meeting our New York State Learning Content Standards and will continue to do so for the remainder of the year.

 

By doing so, we ensure your children are learning and are prepared for their next grade level.

We look forward to sharing news about your child’s success, as well as, any special matters that may occur related to your child’s experience at ABS.

 

 I encourage you to talk with your child and his/her teacher to see what great things are happening in their classroom!
