Welcome Letter
The well-established Athletic Program at ABS is built on a tradition of excellence, both on and off the field. Since opening our doors in 2006 we have produced many competitive teams and individual athletes both of which have competed in intermural championships. With a winning streak and home-grown tradition like ours, it is easy to see why over 40 percent of our students participate in at least one of the 20 athletic teams and programs we have on campus.
We strive to give our student-athletes all the tools they need to succeed on the field, court, in the water and on the green. Our extensive athletic facilities include a 300+ seated air-conditioned gym, football turf, semi-Olympic pool, volleyball and basketball courts. Additionally, we offer weightlifting facilities, a secondary gym space, and a swimming pool designed specifically for our younger students in Kindergarten.
The Physical Education department is eager to welcome new and returning students. We are ready to kick-off the new academic year with enthusiasm and exhilaration. Our team of highly skilled and qualified PE instructors look forward to sharing their knowledge and expertise with you to help attain your goals and maintain a healthy balance lifestyle. The teaching methods we employ echoes our belief that physical education should be a class in which you can expend your energy, grow your mental and physical prowess, all while having fun!
We ask that you as a student, participate with passion and sportsmanship. Through our long-standing curriculum will teach you several sporting activities. The curriculum allows students to learn and experience new activities like volleyball, swimming and badminton. The activities we offer are chosen to strategically target key growth areas and refine coordination, heighten awareness and improve over physical fitness. The skills you will learn through the PE program will prove to be invaluable in the future and can be applied to various aspects of your life.
